As the session of 2015 comes to a close, Amrapali Group’s
Amrapali Education organized a valediction ceremony to bid goodbyes to students
of civil engineering. The ceremony was headed by Amrapali Group Chief
Managing Director, Anil Kumar Sharma, who gave a motivating and congratulatory
speech to the passing out batch. Held on June 10 at Amrapali Platinum in Sector
119, Noida, the ceremony was attended by over 100 graduates who were bid adieu.
The ceremony also marked the signing of a Memorandum of
Understanding between Amrapali Education and Rajasthan’s Mewar University, as
told by Mewar University’s Director of Training, Prashant Upadhyay. A two-week training
and development programme was organized for the students of the two
universities which ran from May 24 to June 10 and was closed with the
valediction ceremony.
The programme organized sessions on structural engineering,
earthquake resistance, building techniques used in high-rise structures and
international pre-cast techniques were discussed and educated to the students. As
these issues are gaining higher significance with the advancing times,
organizing such sessions is a great step taken by Amrapali Education.
The programme was held at Amrapali Education Wing at
Sector-63, Noida. Apart from students of Amrapali Education, over 150 students
from Mewar University and Uttar Pradesh’s Aryabhatta University participated in
the event. The students were also taken for a visit to Asia’s biggest pre-cast
plant at Greater Noida made by Amrapali Developers.
The session also became a platform for students and teachers
to bond and discuss their experiences. Amrapali Group’s CMD Anil Kumar Sharma,
Mewar University’s Director SK Das, Ms Deepshikha, Prof. PN Singh, Mr Rishi
Kumar and Mr Manoj Peterson also joined the discussion and shared their
experiences with engineering staff and students.
